Paradise is defined as any place of ideal loveliness or beauty. There are tons of beaches around that can be labeled as such, but only one can withstand the true meaning of paradise; and that my friends is Playa Linda.

Located just 25 minutes from Escaleras Escape, this mesmerizing black sand beach is the ideal spot to both hang a hammock and catch some waves.

Playa Linda is MASSIVE.

Its sheer size and elongated shape means you can drive for miles in either directions to ensure yourself a secluded piece of paradise.

There are no restaurants or shops at this beach so make sure to bring enough food and water for you and your party!

Playa Linda has stolen our hearts and is a must see when visiting Escaleras Escape! 

Getting There

Turn left at the blue butterfly rock and follow the Poza Azul Road down to the highway.

Take a right onto the Costanera Sur and drive for 15 km until you see two massive cellphone towers.

Slow down once the towers become visible and prepare to turn left. The small dirt road by the towers will lead you directly to the beach.

Once at the beach, you can turn either right or left and follow the road down until you find a place of your liking. 

(Look out for coconuts!! Don’t park your car underneath them.)

Then simply sit back, relax, and get lost amongst the waves.
